I am an odd + generally optimistic kind of girl. I guess I would describe myself as cautious, a bit conservative, relatively easy-going, playful and daydream-y. I tend to go about life one day at a time as my means of survival, never thinking too much into the future, and often fretting about what has happened in the past. I am constantly questioning everything I encounter in life, and am always wondering the "reasons why" behind things; if there is something I don't understand, I try to research it on my own to find out the whole story and/or ask questions. I am very trusting and I forgive others easily because I am usually able to understand their motives. Because of that, my heart gets broken a lot; but because I have people around me who truly care, I am always able to rebound.
My immediate family consists of myself, my parents, my step-parents (both of my parents have re-married), my two older sisters and their husbands and children (4 nieces, to-date). I have a wonderful group of local friends whom I love to hang out with... whether we're celebrating someone's birthday, playing some D&D or just hanging out doing whatever. I also have several friends from college whom I love dearly; despite the physical distance between us all, I think of them often and miss them all terribly.
The love of my life is Shaun; we have been together since May 20th of 2005, although we have actually known each other for a lot longer. He once was dating a former roommate of mine from college; at the time I was with my ex. My ex ended up cheating on me and, coincidentally, Shaun's ex ended up cheating on him around the same time. He and I started talking again on AIM, then via email, then over the phone, until we came to the conclusion that we couldn't keep doing this 1,000 miles apart. Hence, I moved to Florida and have been here since. Although it was rough in the beginning, we are now living together in an apartment, and I have a wonderful job that I love (data entry, in case you wondered).
