So just who is the Goddess of Pie? Who is Kasandora? Well... that would be me! XD I threw together a little miscellaneous info for anyone who may be curious, and stuck it all on this cute little page. Enjoy!
So, maybe a little background info first, hm? The title of Goddess of Pie was first bestowed upon me some time in 1998, by a group of friends I had. Another person already had the title of being The Nifty Cheese Goddess, so of course I had to have a title too! It's been a few years (and counting), so you'll have to forgive me if I don't remember the details of the story. ^_^; Suffice it to say, the title was placed, and since then that has been my online persona. In my experience, I've only ever come across one other person who has claimed the title of Pie Goddess. However, since imitation is the highest form of flattery, I chose not to smite her on the spot and instead have just let her be. XD
Now the name Kasandora has an entirely different story behind it. It's actually the name of a desert in an old Nintendo game (I have a bad habit of never remembering the title of it though... Act Raiser maybe?). I got the name from someone I was dating at the time, as I've clearly never played the game before. ^^; In any case, I fell in love with the name and have been using it ever since. When I started being the Goddess of Pie, I simply tacked that onto Kasandora for use as my online name.
Now that you are sufficiently bored, I'll throw in a picture and we can call it a day, hm?
Well really I suppose at this point I could discuss my love life and friends and family and career and educational background and hobbies and other such things that none of you are very interested in. But you're still reading this anyway so let's see... I am in a healthy, loving relationship with the most patient and understanding human being I have ever met; as of the most recent update we have been together almost 3 years. I have lots of friends whom I love dearly; I've got a mommy and a stepdad and 2 older sisters and many nieces; I have a fantastic job that I truly enjoy doing (data entry for the Clerk of Courts); I graduated from college with a B.A. in Art History; my hobbies include Maple Story, Mabinogi, D&D, scrapbooking, and playing the clarinet. For a creative outlet, I sometimes fiddle around with websites and desktop wallpapers for my computer, and I'm also a DDR, Katamari, Karaoke Revolution and Culdcept Saga addict. I listen to a variety of music, but among my top favorite artists are The Cranberries, Jewel, Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Savage Garden, Vertical Horizon and Hamasaki Ayumi; favorite movies include The Dark Crystal, Sleepless in Seattle, Office Space, Shrek and Shoot 'Em Up; favorite books include The Dark is Rising sequence by Susan Cooper, The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind, The Incarnations of Immortality series by Piers Anthony and Ramar, the Rabbit with Rainbow Wings by Darrell T Hare.
